Barista – Frontline Food Service

About the role
The Barista will be the face of our food service outlet, ensuring smooth front‑line operations and delivering a high‑quality coffee experience to guests. Working at the Lakeside site, you will interact directly with customers, prepare beverages, and maintain a clean and welcoming environment.
Key responsibilities
- Determine customer coffee preferences, present the menu, and follow drink recipes and preparation techniques.
- Sell and serve baked goods and other food items in a courteous manner.
- Safely handle all hot and cold drinks during preparation.
- Replenish coffee bean supplies and keep counters and displays clean and tidy.
- Serve customers promptly and address feedback, reporting actions to the Unit Manager.
- Operate cleaning equipment safely and report any faults.
- Assist operations at other sites when required.
- Perform any additional duties assigned by the supervisor.
