Brand Designer – Employer Branding

About the role

ByteDance’s Employer Branding team is looking for an experienced Brand Designer to create and evolve visual content that showcases the company’s culture to talent worldwide. You will own the design process from concept through execution, collaborating with strategists, producers and external partners to deliver high‑impact assets across digital and offline channels.

Key responsibilities

• Lead visual design for employer branding initiatives, turning culture insights into engaging external‑facing content.
• Design assets for social media, employer branding platforms, and offline events.
• Create cohesive creative assets for campaigns, ensuring consistency across channels and formats.
• Contribute to digital employer branding experiences, applying UX thinking to improve candidate journeys.
• Own projects end‑to‑end, coordinating with cross‑functional teams and external vendors to meet deadlines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts or related field.
• 5+ years of visual or brand design experience, preferably with external‑facing content such as social media or campaigns.
• Strong visual sensibility, up‑to‑date with design trends and storytelling for digital platforms.
• Robust portfolio demonstrating high‑quality visual design and concept translation.
• Excellent collaboration skills and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.
• Proficiency with Figma.
• Motion or video editing abilities (a plus).
• Understanding of UI/UX principles and digital interface design.
