Business Data Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Business Data Analyst to turn commercial data into actionable insights that support sales, marketing and management decisions. The role will focus on structuring, cleaning and visualising sell‑in and sell‑out data from multiple sources to drive growth and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Structure, clean, consolidate and forecast sell‑in and sell‑out data from NielsenIQ, retail pharmacy portals, Microsoft AX Dynamics and internal trackers.
• Analyse commercial performance across promotions, assortment, pricing and sales trends.
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and Excel/Google Sheets reports for Sales, Marketing and Digital teams.
• Support business reviews by identifying growth opportunities and performance gaps.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define priorities, share insights and educate teams on data usage.
• Conduct ad‑hoc analyses to evaluate promotion effectiveness and category performance.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency and reliability across all reports and dashboards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with experience handling FMCG commercial data.
• Detail‑oriented, self‑driven and capable of managing data independently.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally with Sales, Marketing and Digital teams.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets.
• Power BI dashboard development.
• Intermediate SQL for data querying.
• Python (advantage for automation/forecasting).
• Familiarity with NielsenIQ, retail pharmacy portals and Microsoft AX Dynamics.
