Business Development Executive (Architecture & Design)

About the role

The Business Development Executive will drive new business opportunities for KAPA’s architecture, interior design, renovation and design‑and‑build services across Singapore. You will act as the primary point of contact for prospective clients, guiding them from initial enquiry through to project award.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in residential, commercial, hospitality and workplace sectors.
• Research potential clients and upcoming projects, building a robust sales pipeline.
• Develop and expand client accounts, establishing relationships with property owners, architects, consultants, developers and contractors.
• Manage the full sales cycle: lead generation, client consultation, proposal preparation, negotiation and contract closure.
• Prepare and present proposals, quotations, tenders and bids in coordination with internal teams.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales and revenue targets.
• Maintain regular communication with clients throughout the sales, design and project phases.
• Collaborate with design, quantity surveying and project management teams to ensure proposals are commercially viable and aligned with client expectations.
• Monitor project progress from a client‑management perspective and provide updates to management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development or sales within architecture, interior design, renovation or design‑and‑build services.
• Strong ability to research market trends, identify opportunities and build client relationships.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a focus on delivering client‑centric solutions.
• Ability to work independently and manage a full sales pipeline.
