Business Development Executive – Freight Forwarding

About the role

The Business Development Executive will drive growth for our freight forwarding services across ocean, air, and logistics solutions. This hunter‑type position focuses on acquiring new customers, expanding existing accounts, and meeting aggressive sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Promote ocean freight, air freight, project cargo, and warehousing services to prospective clients.
• Develop and execute business strategies aligned with customers' objectives.
• Identify, approach, and secure new accounts while building a robust customer pool.
• Maintain professional relationships and effective communication with existing clients, internal teams, affiliate offices, and partners.
• Achieve sales targets and ensure transactions meet P&L goals.
• Monitor market conditions, competitor activities, and product developments.
• Ensure timely collection of customer receivables and accurate sales reporting.
• Research and evaluate new business opportunities within the freight forwarding industry.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Head of Sales.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in freight forwarding or contract logistics, with knowledge of sea freight or air freight.
• Own reliable transport.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Salary will be commensurate with experience.
