Business Development Executive – Singapore

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Business Development Executive to join our food manufacturing company in North Woodlands, Singapore. You will be responsible for driving new business opportunities, supporting key accounts, and contributing to revenue growth through strategic planning and market analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare business action plans and go‑to‑market strategies for new products, including market positioning and evaluation of opportunities.
• Manage project enquiries and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Key Account Managers to identify new business opportunities and strengthen customer relationships.
• Conduct market research, identify industry trends and customer needs, and build business pipelines aligned with revenue targets.
• Identify gaps in existing processes and develop improvement strategies.
• Support planning and implementation of marketing strategies and assign tasks to achieve objectives.
• Monitor industry trends and review business strategies with management and stakeholders.
• Manage proposal responses, including RFP requirements and content preparation.
• Develop and implement outbound sales and business development processes and best practices.
• Assist in deal structuring and pricing through business value analysis.
• Motivate the team, monitor performance, and report on agreed metrics.
• Maintain and share professional knowledge through training, networking, events, and presentations.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in project management.
• Good understanding of B2B sales and sales techniques.
• Proficient in data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to plan and manage resources effectively.
• Adaptable, flexible, and goal‑oriented.
