Business Development Manager - IT Infrastructure, Asia Pacific

About the role

Datwyler IT Infra, an international company founded more than 100 years ago with headquarters in Switzerland and affiliates in Europe, the Middle East and Asia, is hiring a Business Development Manager for its Asia Pacific business unit. The role leads business development for IT infrastructure products, systems, solutions and services across the Building, Infrastructure, Enterprise IT and Data Centre segments, reporting to the Managing Director, APAC. It works closely with sales, marketing, operations, project and service teams, and the scope of countries and segments depends on the candidate's experience.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and assess competitors' activity
• Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, consultants and strategic alliance stakeholders
• Formulate and execute business strategies to expand market presence and drive revenue growth
• Lead negotiations and close deals in line with company objectives
• Collaborate with cross-functional sales, marketing and product teams
• Monitor performance metrics and adapt strategies based on market trends and results
• Present business plans and growth strategies to senior leadership and stakeholders

Required profile

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in engineering, business, IT or a related field
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in sales, business development or similar roles
• Preferred experience in Building, Large Infrastructure, Telecom, Enterprise IT and Data Centre
• Knowledge of infrastructure and connectivity solutions in building, elevator, IT, data centre and industrial environments is an advantage
• More extensive experience considered for senior-level roles
