Business Development Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team at Gebruder Weiss Pte Ltd in the Central Region. This full‑time position will focus on generating new leads and converting them into potential clients within the freight forwarding and logistics sector.

Key responsibilities

• Secure new customers and expand the client base.
• Maintain and develop existing accounts to drive retention and growth.
• Build and nurture strong relationships with customers.
• Respond to customer communications promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver tailored solutions.
• Prepare and execute sales action plans and strategies.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of proven business development or sales experience, preferably in freight forwarding & logistics.
• Demonstrated success in identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building abilities.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to assess market trends.
• Proficiency in using CRM systems to track and report sales performance.
