Business Development Manager – Retail Channels (B2B)

About the role

We are looking for a strategic Business Development Manager to lead the expansion of our baby, kids and maternity product lines into Singapore’s retail landscape. The role focuses on building relationships with department stores, specialty boutiques, pharmacies and other brick‑and‑mortar partners to drive revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate and onboard new retail partners and distributors such as Mothercare, Kiddy Palace, BHG, Watsons and supermarkets.
• Negotiate listing agreements, trading terms and promotional placements, and create a roadmap for channel expansion.
• Maintain and grow existing accounts, develop joint business plans and seasonal campaigns, and monitor sell‑through data and stock levels.
• Conduct market and consumer analysis to uncover trends, pricing strategies and competitor activity, translating insights into actionable product positioning.
• Drive sales performance, manage in‑store promotion budgets, and coordinate with marketing and product teams to ensure brand consistency.
• Work closely with supply‑chain and logistics teams to guarantee timely deliveries and regulatory compliance for baby and maternity products.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in retail business development or key‑account management, preferably within baby, kids, maternity, FMCG or lifestyle categories.
• Strong network and deep understanding of Singapore’s retail ecosystem.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Entrepreneurial, resource‑oriented and comfortable in a fast‑growing, family‑oriented environment.
