Business Development Representative

About the role

We are seeking a Business Development Representative to build our outbound engine from scratch at wearemighty, the company behind trysecretsauce.ai – an AI‑driven platform that helps brands scale content production. This role is hands‑on, uncapped by scripts, and works directly with the founders to define and execute outbound strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Design and run outbound prospecting campaigns targeting consumer brands, e‑commerce companies, and marketing teams.
• Research companies, identify signals of creative‑scaling pain, and develop account‑based outreach strategies.
• Write, test, and iterate cold emails, LinkedIn messages, and multi‑channel sequences.
• Leverage AI tools to automate research, prospecting, and personalization workflows.
• Qualify opportunities, book discovery meetings, and maintain CRM hygiene.
• Collaborate with founders to refine positioning, messaging, and product feedback.
• Continuously experiment with new outreach tactics, tools, and workflows.

Required profile

• Proven experience in outbound sales, business development, or prospecting roles.
• Track record of generating pipeline through self‑sourced outbound efforts.
• Strong written communication and comfort with cold outreach and rejection.
• Ability to work independently in an early‑stage, ambiguous environment.
• Curiosity about AI and willingness to incorporate AI tools into daily workflows.
