Business Development Representative

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Business Development Representative to join our Singapore team. You will generate new business opportunities by converting warm leads into qualified prospects through inbound and outbound outreach across calls, web chat, and email. This role offers a gateway into a career in software sales, working with a diverse range of customers from startups to enterprise organisations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct outbound prospecting via cold calling, email outreach, and social selling.
• Identify and qualify new business opportunities by researching prospects and analysing market positioning.
• Engage prospects, uncover needs, and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Schedule discovery meetings for Account Executives and nurture trial leads until they are ready to purchase.
• Maintain accurate prospect information in the CRM system.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 months experience in a BDR/SDR role within the software industry.
• Strong phone, writing, and listening abilities.
• Self‑starter with a desire to learn and grow.
• Excellent English communication; additional language (Mandarin, Japanese, Korean) is a plus.
