Business Executive – Plastics & Petrochemical Trade

About the role

The Business Executive will support our fast‑growing petro‑chemical and plastics trading business in Singapore. You will work closely with regional commercial teams to source, import, export and distribute plastic raw materials across South‑East Asia and China.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in material sourcing and communicate product availability to regional commercial teams.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of the company’s product portfolio and trade activities.
• Support business development initiatives and generate market insights through regular reporting.
• Identify, qualify and secure new business opportunities, and develop targeted sales strategies.
• Build and nurture relationships with existing and potential suppliers and customers.
• Manage sales administration using SAP‑ERP, CRM tools and Microsoft Office.
• Monitor logistics, inventory and cargo allocations.
• Conduct market research and prepare analytical reports.
• Perform ad‑hoc duties as assigned by management.

Required profile

• Minimum Diploma in Business or Marketing.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in sales, trading or business development.
• Self‑motivated, organized, team‑oriented and able to work independently under pressure.
• Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Detail‑oriented, active listener with a results‑driven mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP (ERP) systems.
• Experience using CRM software.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
