Business Unit Manager

About the role

The Business Unit Manager will lead a dedicated workcell within Jabil's plant, overseeing both operational performance and financial results for an assigned customer account. Reporting to the plant strategic leadership team, the role requires close collaboration with internal functions and external customers to drive revenue growth and deliver comprehensive solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Member of the plant strategic leadership team, contributing to overall business direction.
• Establish and nurture customer relationships to capture organic revenue opportunities.
• Own the profit & loss statement for the assigned site or workcell.
• Lead the Request for Proposal (RFP) process for designated accounts.
• Manage performance, development, and rewards for direct reports while influencing indirect teams through Jabil’s workcell model.
• Set pricing strategies for materials and value‑add services.
• Drive continuous improvement of customer performance metrics and satisfaction.
• Execute contractual terms and lead Quarterly Business Review (QBR) meetings with customers.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong financial acumen, including balance‑sheet and income‑statement analysis.
• Deep operational knowledge of manufacturing and supply‑chain processes.
• Familiarity with contract fundamentals and Jabil’s internal financial and quoting tools.
• Leadership experience with people‑management and change‑management capabilities.
• Understanding of global logistics, customs regimes, and international tax considerations.
