Calibration Technician

About the role

The Calibration Technician is responsible for repairing, troubleshooting, maintaining, calibrating and qualifying advanced pharmaceutical laboratory equipment to meet ISO17025, GMP and GLP standards. The role supports both internal and client‑facing activities, ensuring equipment performance and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform repair, troubleshooting, maintenance, calibration and qualification of laboratory instrumentation.
• Administer scheduling and documentation of maintenance, calibration and qualification programs.
• Follow calibration schedules, project budgets and provide progress reports to clients.
• Assist with ISO 9001/17025 and customer audits, handling corrective actions.
• Liaise with customers, sales teams and approved suppliers to meet calibration timelines and documentation requirements.
• Manage equipment deliveries, pickups, shipping and expediting of parts.
• Identify and apply appropriate calibration procedures and perform non‑conformance investigations.
• Maintain calibration reference standards, equipment and laboratory records.

Required profile

• NITEC, Higher NITEC or Diploma in mechatronics, mechanical or electrical engineering (preferred).
• Fresh graduates are welcome.
• Knowledge of engineering, measurement science, mathematics, physics and electronics is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail, independence and confidentiality.
