Cashier

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Cashier to join our Minimart team in Bedok, Singapore. The role involves handling customer payments efficiently and supporting daily store operations in a fast‑paced retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Process customer transactions accurately using cash, credit cards and digital payment methods.
• Issue receipts, refunds and change promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean and organized cashier counter and surrounding area.
• Stock shelves and assist with general shop duties to keep products available.
• Communicate clearly with customers and team members in English and/or Chinese.
• Work both independently and collaboratively to meet daily operational targets.
• Apply strong numerical skills and attention to detail to minimise transaction errors.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
• Ability to handle cash and perform accurate calculations.
• Good communication skills in English; Chinese is a plus.
• Team‑oriented attitude with the ability to work independently.
• Attention to detail and strong numerical aptitude.
