Cell Leader - Engine Component Repair

About the role

Pratt & Whitney Singapore Component Repair, part of RTX, is looking for a Cell Leader to run the Engine Component Repair Cell and lead a team of up to 30 technicians. The position is onsite at 61 Seletar Aerospace View.

Key responsibilities

• Manage cell operations and lead the team of up to 30 technicians.
• Achieve operational targets in eTAT, OTD, HPP, productivity, utilization and cost efficiency.
• Implement Smart Factory initiatives and continuous improvement projects to boost productivity and cut cycle time.
• Oversee manpower planning, resource allocation and overtime management.
• Manage and report production outputs and sales targets, and monitor operational KPIs.
• Drive employee engagement through communication, coaching and performance feedback, and support staffing, training and development.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Finance, HR and Materials teams, and lead productivity and CORE projects.
• Support EH&S programmes and take part in audits and inspections as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in production, operations or manufacturing in a supervisory role.
• Proven ability to manage and motivate teams, with demonstrated problem-solving and leadership skills.
• Experience using SAP or equivalent enterprise systems.
• Lean manufacturing or repair experience with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Preferred: aerospace, manufacturing or MRO experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL, applied to data analysis, automation and process improvement.
• Process and detail orientation, with strong interpersonal and prioritisation skills.
