Central Operations Head – Singapore

About the role

We are partnering with a well‑established financial institution to recruit a Central Operations Head based in Singapore. This senior leadership position provides strategic direction and end‑to‑end oversight across core operational, technology and project management functions, driving operational excellence and scalable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead central operations covering wealth, treasury, trade finance and loan activities.
• Manage cross‑functional teams in operations, technology and project management.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements, and maintain robust operational risk controls.
• Oversee business continuity planning, testing and risk mitigation.
• Drive process re‑engineering, automation and digital transformation initiatives.
• Define, monitor and report on KPIs and SLAs to guarantee service excellence.
• Govern a portfolio of strategic projects, ensuring timely delivery and strong governance.
• Provide leadership for IT functions, ensuring adherence to governance, audit and cybersecurity standards.
• Develop operational documentation, training materials and promote capability building.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related field.
• 12–15 years of banking or financial services operations experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record managing large operational teams and complex projects.
