Chemist / Assistant Chemist

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Chemist or Assistant Chemist to join our laboratory team at AMLAB Services. The role involves performing analytical tests using advanced instrumentation and supporting quality activities. Fresh graduates are welcome.

Key responsibilities

• Perform tests using advanced instruments such as UV‑Vis, ICP‑OES, FIA and GC‑MS.
• Deliver prompt testing results to customers.
• Ensure all machines and instruments are properly cleaned and maintained.
• Conduct calibration and preparation of reagents as needed.
• Prepare yearly assessments and liaise with external audit teams (SFA, SAC).
• Maintain good housekeeping and cleanliness in the laboratory.
• Provide training to interns during their laboratory internship.
• Oversee quality division tasks and perform quality activities assigned by management.

Required profile

• Degree in Chemistry, Material Science or a related field, or a Diploma in Chemical Process.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Team player with good cooperation skills.
• Self‑disciplined, initiative‑taking, and able to solve issues.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
