Chief Executive Officer (CEO) – FinTech Startup

About the role

We are a fast‑growing fintech startup building next‑generation financial infrastructure across Asia. We are looking for an entrepreneurial Chief Executive Officer to lead the company through its next phase of growth and to relocate to Kuala Lumpur.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the overall vision, strategy and long‑term growth plan.
• Take full ownership of the company’s profit and loss and oversee all business functions.
• Identify new revenue opportunities, expand market presence and forge strategic partnerships with banks, payment providers and technology partners.
• Work closely with product and engineering teams to define product strategy, ensure operational excellence and drive product‑market fit.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow optimisation and financial reporting.
• Lead fundraising initiatives (Seed, Series A and beyond) and maintain investor relations.
• Recruit, mentor and develop senior leadership and foster a high‑performance culture.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and implement strong corporate governance.

Required profile

• Entrepreneurial, hands‑on leader with a proven track record in scaling fintech or financial services businesses.
• Experience in fundraising, investor relations and building strategic partnerships.
• Strong P&L ownership and ability to drive revenue growth and profitability.
• Willingness to relocate to Kuala Lumpur and work onsite.
