Childcare Teacher – Early Childhood Education

About the role

As a Childcare Teacher, you will nurture and educate young children across various preschool brands islandwide. You will create a safe, engaging environment that supports each child's development into an independent, responsible, and happy individual.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver age‑appropriate activities aligned with the centre’s curriculum and pedagogy.
• Foster a love of learning and help children achieve key learning milestones.
• Communicate regularly with parents, sharing educational techniques to support holistic development.
• Set up learning corners each term and maintain a safe, conducive classroom environment.
• Implement class rules and teach values to promote positive social interaction.
• Guide children in managing social‑emotional behaviour and collaborative play.

Required profile

• Diploma or Certificate in Early Childhood Care & Education (DECCE‑T or CECCCE) or Diploma in Child Psychology & Early Education – L1/L2.
• GCE ‘O’ Level credit in English.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Team player with a passion for inspiring young lives.
