Civil & Structural Engineer (Singapore)

About the role

BG&E Consulting Engineers, an international design consultancy, is seeking a Civil & Structural Engineer to join its Singapore office. The role involves independent preparation of concept to detailed designs for BCA submissions, client submissions and construction documentation, supporting complex building projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop concept and detailed designs for building and infrastructure projects.
• Prepare and submit documentation for BCA and client approvals.
• Produce construction documentation and support construction phases.
• Manage both permanent and temporary structural works.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project delivery.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering recognised by the Professional Engineers Board Singapore.
• 5–7+ years of experience in structural design of buildings, infrastructure or civil works, preferably in Singapore.
• Proficiency with engineering software such as SPACE GASS, STAAD.PRO, ETABS, Prokon, AutoCAD, PLAXIS and Slope/W.
• Knowledge of Eurocode standards and practices.
• Strong communication, teamwork and self‑motivation.
