Civil/Structural Construction Specialist II – Resident Technical Officer

About the role

Worley is seeking a Civil/Structural Construction Specialist II to act as Resident Technical Officer on LTA projects in Singapore. You will provide civil engineering services, supervise construction activities, and ensure strict compliance with health, safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all health and safety policies and LTA PPE requirements.
• Supervise construction work, verifying adherence to plans, drawings, method statements, risk assessments and specifications.
• Report incidents, near‑misses and non‑compliance to the Senior Resident Engineer (SRE) or Resident Engineer (RE).
• Reject poor quality work and raise non‑conformance notices.
• Assist the RE in maintaining field change records, construction schedules and document control.
• Prepare daily/shift progress reports and verify contractor manpower and resource logs.
• Attend daily toolbox meetings, PGIs, site workshops and other coordination meetings.

Required profile

• Experience as a Resident Engineer on LTA or similar infrastructure projects.
• Ability to supervise daily construction activities and coordinate with contractors and subcontractors.
• Willingness to work rotation shifts when required.
