Cleaning Operations Manager

About the role

The Cleaning Operations Manager is responsible for translating corporate strategy into efficient field execution across our cleaning contracts. Reporting to senior leadership, the role oversees workflow design, technology deployment, and large‑scale labour scheduling to meet client SLAs while protecting profit margins.

Key responsibilities

• Design and continuously improve cleaning workflows to maximise efficiency.
• Deploy and manage smart cleaning technologies and related software tools.
• Create, maintain and optimise massive labour rosters, ensuring right‑skill coverage.
• Monitor service delivery against client Service Level Agreements and take corrective actions.
• Analyse operational data to identify cost‑saving opportunities and drive profitability.
• Coordinate with procurement, health & safety and client teams to ensure compliance.
• Lead a team of supervisors and front‑line staff, providing coaching and performance feedback.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in cleaning or facilities operations management.
• Proven track record of managing large teams and complex schedules.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret KPI data.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management or related field preferred.
