Clinic Assistant – Patient Care & Administration

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Clinic Assistant to support patient registration, financial counselling and daily administrative operations at our specialised breast surgery centre. The role involves direct interaction with patients, coordination of appointments and ensuring smooth financial and insurance processes.

Key responsibilities

• Register patients by collecting contact details, insurance information and medical histories.
• Answer phone calls, WhatsApp messages and emails promptly to schedule appointments, surgeries and investigations.
• Book radiology, laboratory and surgical procedures and follow up on results.
• Provide accurate financial counselling for procedures and assist patients with insurance applications and claims.
• Handle cashier duties, close daily accounts and submit corporate claims.
• Scan and file patient medical reports and maintain a tidy reception area.
• Educate patients on pre‑operative and post‑operative instructions.
• Support the nursing manager with additional duties as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Punctual, collaborative team player with a positive attitude.
• Computer literate and able to work efficiently under supervision.
