Cloud Engineer – AWS Infrastructure & DevOps

About the role

Join NCS, a leading AI tech services company, as a Cloud Engineer. You will design, deploy and operate secure, scalable AWS environments that support a range of industry clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement AWS architectures using services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC and CloudFormation.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, CloudFormation or AWS CDK.
• Monitor performance, optimise costs and manage backup, disaster‑recovery and business‑continuity processes.
• Apply AWS security best practices, configure IAM, GuardDuty, CloudTrail, WAF and ensure compliance.
• Develop automation scripts (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and CI/CD pipelines (CodePipeline, CodeBuild, Jenkins).
• Support containerisation using ECS, EKS or Fargate and collaborate with development, network and security teams.
• Create technical documentation, runbooks and architecture diagrams.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum two years of hands‑on experience with AWS.
• Knowledge of cloud networking, VPC design and routing.
• Familiarity with backup, disaster‑recovery and basic cybersecurity concepts.
