Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps Engineer

About the role

The Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps Engineer will design, implement and maintain secure, compliant, and highly available cloud environments. This role focuses on infrastructure-as-code, automation, and cost‑optimization to support application development and operations.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, maintain, improve, and monitor cloud infrastructure to ensure compliance, availability, and security.
• Lead the implementation of cloud‑based solutions using infrastructure‑as‑code practices.
• Streamline provisioning and manage CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.
• Coordinate with the security team to address vulnerabilities, outages, or breach incidents.
• Assess usage patterns and introduce cost‑control mechanisms such as reserved instances and right‑sizing, providing recommendations to the Authority.
• Follow up on requests and incidents, ensuring timely and documented resolution in line with policies.
• Ensure CI/CD tools are correctly configured to support development and testing.

Required profile

• Diploma in Computer Studies or a related discipline.
• Solid experience as a Cloud Infrastructure or DevOps Engineer.
• Relevant cloud or DevOps certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer) are advantageous.
• Understanding that this role is distinct from traditional application/server administration.
