Cloud Operations Engineer

About the role

The Cloud Operations Engineer will ensure the reliability, performance, and security of Azure‑based AI platforms. You will work closely with engineering, MLOps and platform teams to keep services running smoothly and to continuously improve operational processes.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor availability, performance and health of Azure cloud services supporting AI workloads.
• Investigate and resolve production incidents, perform root‑cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
• Support disaster‑recovery and business‑continuity initiatives to maintain platform resilience.
• Collaborate with engineering, MLOps and platform teams to enhance monitoring, automation and operational best practices.
• Assist with compliance, governance and security monitoring activities.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure‑as‑Code (IaC) templates and scripts to improve operational efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvements in reliability, observability and operational excellence.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, cloud operations or platform administration.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure and its monitoring tools.
• Familiarity with IaC tools such as Terraform, Bicep or ARM templates.
• Proficiency in scripting with PowerShell and/or Python.
• Basic understanding of Kubernetes (AKS) and AI/ML environments is a plus.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills.
