Cloud Security Specialist

About the role

A client, an industry leader in shipping and logistics, is hiring a Cloud Security Specialist based in Singapore. The specialist helps the business evolve securely in its move to the cloud, acting as an enabler between IT teams and business teams and challenging the status quo.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on security technologies, requirements and processes for cloud implementation and integration projects.
• Work with architects, infrastructure teams, developers and business stakeholders to define cloud security policies and documentation.
• Support the development of the cloud security design framework for new solutions.
• Drive security initiatives and the adoption of the cloud security strategy, ensuring solutions are evaluated and aligned with business goals in a cost-effective, scalable and agile way.
• Perform cloud security assessments against industry frameworks and recommend holistic improvements.
• Evaluate business strategies and threat landscapes to set cloud security requirements.
• Establish ongoing cloud security monitoring and compliance and advise on projects to implement governance recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a relevant cyber security field.
• At least 5 years of experience designing and implementing large-scale cloud security architectures in complex environments.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud deployments (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS, CaaS).
• Extensive experience with AWS; Microsoft Azure, Office365 and Google Cloud preferred.
• Knowledge of identity and access management, SSO, MFA, data protection, cryptography, CASB, SIEM, WAF and audit.
• Up to date on cyber threats facing financial services, e-business and high-volume online systems.
• Ideally CISSP, CSSP or CISM certified, with knowledge of GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, PCI DSS and other standards.
• Familiar with ITIL and COBIT.
• Analytical, pragmatic, able to influence and negotiate with stakeholders, detail-oriented, fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
