College Intern - Agentic AI Engineering

About the role

HP is looking for a College Intern in Agentic AI Engineering in Singapore. The intern leads an Agentic AI hardware and system engineering innovation project, working alongside senior engineers on notebook AI PC components and AI applications. The internship is full time, for 5 to 6 months starting in January 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior hardware engineers on the design, testing and validation of notebook AI PC components and Agentic AI systems.
• Take part in prototyping new notebook designs, assembling and configuring test units.
• Diagnose hardware issues in notebook PCs and help with root cause analysis.
• Collect and analyse test data, write reports and present findings to the engineering team.
• Work with software, mechanical and electrical engineering teams on cohesive product development.
• Research emerging hardware technologies and trends to support notebook AI PC design.
• Take advantage of training sessions and mentorship to deepen knowledge of notebook PC hardware engineering.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Able to commit to a 5-6 month full-time internship starting in January 2027.
• Passion for AI and hardware technologies, a growth mindset and willingness to learn.
• Teamwork, communication and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Confidently contributes ideas and takes initiative in coding, debugging and building practical proofs of concept, while keeping supervisors and colleagues informed.
