About the role

HP is looking for a College Intern in Electrical Hardware Engineering in Singapore. The intern gains practical experience in electronics and electrical design and testing, working closely with the R&D team to build test boards and support an automated test environment.

Key responsibilities

Work on electronics and electrical design and testing projects.
Develop practical test boards in a real R&D environment based on product requirements.
Generate test scripts that support an automated test environment.

Required profile

Undergraduate degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or a relevant field.
Ability to commit to a 5 to 6-month full-time internship starting around May 2027.
Knowledge of electronic principles and interest in areas such as circuit and system design, PCB design, EMC, or test automation.
Strong analytical problem-solving skills, able to work independently and in a team.

Required skills

Basic knowledge of CAD software for schematic capture.
Basic programming know-how and hands-on experience.
Optional: test automation scripting (e.g. Python, Visual Basic).
