College Intern – NPI Writing System Engineer

About the role

HP is looking for a College Intern to join its NPI Writing System Engineering team in Singapore. The intern works with Writing System Engineers to support Large Format Printer New Product Introduction, development and ink qualification activities.

Key responsibilities

• Support new product introduction (NPI) by developing comprehensive test plans and running product reliability validation before launch.
• Use a range of test equipment and software tools to carry out functional, environmental and stress tests so products meet requirements.
• Work closely with R&D and manufacturing teams to spot and fix issues early in the product lifecycle.
• Analyse existing processes and find ways to automate repetitive, high-volume tasks and streamline workflows using RPA and machine learning.

Required profile

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics or Mechanical Engineering.
• Able to commit to a 5-6 month full-time internship starting around May 2027.
• Data-driven, with proven analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Able to learn new technologies and concepts quickly.
• Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills, proactive, independent and highly motivated.
