About the role
Applied Materials, a global leader in materials science and engineering solutions for semiconductors and advanced displays, is offering a full-time college internship in Singapore. The trainee works on an end-to-end sourcing project aimed at mitigating supply chain risk, within a supportive work culture that encourages learning and career development.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end sourcing process, including RFQ management and supplier selection based on guidance
- Compare quotes and run commercial negotiations
- Follow Applied Materials' internal award and process procedures
Required profile
- Preferred disciplines: Business Analytics, Mechanical Engineering and Supply Chain Management
- Knowledge of procurement and sourcing
- Ability to communicate and manage stakeholders
Required skills
- Excel and Power BI
- Data analysis
- Process mapping
