Warehouse Manager

About the role

Arrow Electronics is hiring a Warehouse Manager for its NIC Components unit, based at 5 Tai Seng Drive, Singapore. The position covers the day-to-day running of logistics or value-add departments, with a fixed shift from Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of a single department (receiving, storing, picking, shipping, special handling) within the distribution/value-add centre, supervising non-exempt tactical staff.
• Lead and manage a team of warehouse staff for Arrow Cores and NIC Components operations.
• Liaise with the appointed freight and transportation service provider on Singapore local deliveries.
• Manage staff performance through employee performance ratings and communicate with internal customers such as Sales and CSR on order fulfilment arrangements.
• Assist the Senior Manager in controlling operating costs to meet the annual budget target.
• Design and implement warehouse staff performance KPIs.
• Understand Singapore import and export rules and regulations, LC/sight draft terms and bank documentation, and strategies control parts requirements under Singapore customs.

Required profile

• 6-8 years of relevant experience in warehouse operations with leadership responsibilities.
• Good working attitude.

Required skills

• Ability to execute ERP and WMS system transactions.
