Commercial Manager – Chartering & Operations (Oil Tankers)

About the role

We are seeking a Master Mariner with shore‑based experience to lead the commercial management of a diversified fleet of oil tankers and LPG carriers based in Singapore. Reporting to senior leadership, you will oversee chartering activities and the day‑to‑day commercial operations of the vessels.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a small team responsible for commercial activities.
• Manage existing charters and negotiate new charter agreements.
• Oversee commercial operation of the fleet, ensuring optimal vessel utilisation.
• Coordinate with technical and operations departments to align commercial objectives.
• Report performance and commercial metrics to senior management.

Required profile

• Master Mariner qualification.
• Minimum 5 years shore‑based experience in commercial vessel operations.
• Demonstrated knowledge of chartering processes for oil tankers or LPG carriers.
• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Preference for candidates residing in Singapore, though other locations are considered.
