About the role
DayOne is seeking a Commercial Manager to lead the commercial strategy for its global portfolio of high‑performance data centres. Based in Singapore, you will manage profitability, negotiate contracts, and support sales initiatives across international markets.
Key responsibilities
- Lead strategic pricing for bids, RFPs and complex solutions.
- Conduct commercial risk assessments for contracts and strategic investments.
- Collaborate with legal and other units to review non‑standard contracts and terms.
- Drive the approval process with the Deal Committee for complex or capex‑intensive proposals.
- Support sales with commercial proposals, pricing, and costing.
- Perform win‑loss analysis and regular cost/price reviews with sales and product teams.
- Manage renewal and churn of service agreements and leases.
- Prepare sales forecasts and pipeline analyses.
- Identify and implement process or business improvements, including digitising quotation processes.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Engineering, IT or a related field.
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in business analysis, preferably within data centre, IT infrastructure, telecommunications or technology environments.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving and commercial acumen.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced setting.
- Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
