Commercial Project Manager

About the role

Siemens Mobility is seeking a Commercial Project Manager to oversee the commercial, legal and financial dimensions of complex rail and mobility projects. The role ensures projects are delivered on schedule, cost‑optimized and compliant with internal and external standards.

Key responsibilities

• Set up project organization, manage customer relationships and establish cross‑company controlling and reporting systems.
• Validate contractual structures in commercial tools and coordinate legal, fiscal and insurance matters across Siemens entities.
• Maintain accurate financial status, consolidate figures across company boundaries and handle internal and external claims.
• Produce consolidated global reports for management and ensure documentation meets mandatory requirements.
• Collaborate with Project Managers on commercial and legal topics, oversee order entry, costing, asset and cash‑flow management.
• Lead project controlling activities, monitor deadlines, costs and quality, and conduct regular status meetings.
• Support final project reporting, lessons‑learned capture and supply‑chain steering.

Required profile

• Proven experience in commercial project management within large, multi‑disciplinary environments.
• Strong understanding of legal, fiscal and insurance processes relevant to infrastructure projects.
• Ability to coordinate across offshore and onshore units and ensure data completeness and reliability.
• Excellent analytical skills for financial consolidation and reporting.
