Communications Consultant – Singapore (Health & Vaccine)

About the role

We are seeking a Singapore‑based communications consultant to help a vaccine venture build its brand, manage media relations and deliver internal communications workshops. The assignment runs until December 2026 with variable workload across the year.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute media strategies, build media lists and pitch journalists covering health topics in Singapore and Southeast Asia.
• Monitor national and regional media, draft press releases, talking points, Q&As and organise press briefings or roundtables.
• Support an in‑person internal communications workshop: prepare materials, facilitate sessions and produce a guide for managers and staff.
• Contribute to external communications plans, draft messaging and shape the overall narrative.
• Provide strategic advice on Singapore’s health R&D and manufacturing landscape, identify partnership opportunities and advocacy moments.
• Handle ad‑hoc event logistics in Singapore and the region, such as coordinating photographers or recording short video clips.
• Participate in client calls, maintain trackers, produce meeting notes and liaise with partners.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (any field).
• Minimum five years of professional experience in communications, media relations or public health.
• Strong writing ability and proven media‑relations track record.
• Experience working with Singapore‑based organisations and cultural fluency with local business practices.
• Ability to work flexibly with teams in London and Geneva, including occasional out‑of‑hours coordination.
