Construction Formwork and Carpenter Worker

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Formwork and Carpenter Worker to join our team in Singapore. The role involves building, installing, and dismantling formwork systems for various concrete structures while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine formwork dimensions and materials.
• Construct and install timber, metal, or prefabricated formwork panels for foundations, walls, columns, beams, and slabs.
• Align, plumb, and brace forms using plumb bobs, laser levels, and framing squares.
• Safely strip, dismantle, and clean formwork after concrete curing for reuse.
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, plywood, steel, and other materials using hand and power tools.
• Adhere strictly to site safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of hands‑on experience in construction formwork, carpentry, or concrete support systems.
• High physical stamina; able to lift up to 25 kg and work at heights or confined spaces.
• Valid construction safety orientation certificate (e.g., OSHA, BCSS) preferred.
• Strong teamwork, attention to detail, and ability to follow supervisor instructions.

Required skills

• Reading and interpreting construction blueprints and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of various formwork systems (timber, system, metal/aluminum frameworks).
• Proficiency with hand and power carpentry tools (saws, hammers, drills, nail guns).
• Use of alignment tools such as plumb bobs, laser levels, and framing squares.
• Measuring, cutting, shaping, and assembling wood, plywood, and steel components.
