Construction Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead site works for complex vehicular infrastructure projects. Reporting to the Project Director, you will ensure schedules, quality, safety and client expectations are met while acting as the primary liaison with our Korean headquarters.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the site team and coordinate all construction activities with subcontractors, consultants and clients.
• Prepare, review and maintain detailed project schedules, method statements and work instructions.
• Produce and audit company reports and documentation.
• Resolve technical issues and claims, and assess subcontractor performance against expectations.
• Ensure compliance with quality, environmental, health and safety standards.
• Communicate regularly in Korean with headquarters to update project progress and align processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 20 years of construction experience, including at least 8 years in a managerial role within a multinational firm.
• At least 10 years managing complex bridge, viaduct and road projects.
• Proven expertise in bored piling, CBP, ERSS, RCBC Drain Box, grouting and related techniques.
• Self‑motivated, independent and strong team‑leadership abilities.
• Fluent in Korean for regular communication with headquarters.
