Construction Manager

About the role

The Construction Manager will lead the planning, design, and execution of civil infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with national and local regulations. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage budgets, and maintain high safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare plans, profiles, details, and specifications for roadways, storm drainage, erosion control, sanitary sewers, water, and utilities.
• Manage project documentation, including contracts, development plans, construction specifications, design calculations, and schedules.
• Compile technical reports, drainage/detention reports, SWPPP checklists, and agency submittals.
• Oversee project progress, ensuring organizational standards and safety guidelines are upheld.
• Track project budgets, analyzing labor and material costs.
• Train and guide managers and operators to meet project specifications and maintain client communication.

Required profile

• Professional experience in civil engineering and site development.
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or equivalent.
• Professional certification such as EIT; PE licensure preferred.
• Project management experience with direct supervision responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of current compliance regulations and future legal changes.

Required skills

• AutoCAD (or similar design software).
• Civil 3D and general Autodesk software proficiency.
• Database design and management.
• Project management tools and techniques.
