Construction Manager

About the role

The Construction Manager will support the Managing Director in securing new projects, oversee tender preparation, contract administration and financial control for civil works. This role involves close collaboration with clients, main contractors and internal project teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with the Managing Director to respond to quotations from local and overseas clients.
• Manage preparation of pre‑tender documentation, respond to tender clarifications and attend tender meetings.
• Prepare and control contract documents, reviewing commercial aspects with clients and sub‑contractors.
• Assist Project Managers in monthly progress payment preparation and claim submission.
• Attend site meetings and support variation order preparation, maintaining records of design changes.
• Negotiate claims and finalise accounts with main contractors and client’s QS.
• Prepare budgets and cash‑flow projections in coordination with directors and financial controller.
• Monitor project costs, provide financial administration and report cost history for negotiations.

Required profile

• At least a Diploma, Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering (Civil) or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in civil works and construction management.
• Background in Quantity Surveying (QS) or contracts is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership, analytical and independent working abilities.
