Construction Manager – Warehouse Project (Singapore)

About the role

Our client, a leading multinational design and build firm, is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead the delivery of a new warehouse construction project in Tuas, Singapore. The role involves full‑time onsite management from mobilisation through to handover, ensuring safety, quality and schedule adherence.

Key responsibilities

• Provide full‑time onsite construction management support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee construction of a 700 m² warehouse facility, including building works and racking installation for 1,100 pallet positions.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) requirements and promote a strong safety culture on site.
• Monitor construction quality and verify work meets project specifications and standards.
• Track project schedules and support high‑level cost control activities.
• Act as the primary coordination point between the client team and contractor organisations.
• Identify and resolve construction‑related issues to maintain progress and minimise risks.
• Support project reporting and stakeholder communications.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience as a Construction Manager on industrial, warehouse, logistics, manufacturing or FMCG facility projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction management principles, contractor supervision, HSE compliance, quality assurance and project scheduling.
• Experience managing site activities in an active operational environment.
• Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and maintain project momentum under tight timelines.
• Excellent communication, organisational and problem‑solving skills.
• Willingness to work full‑time onsite for the duration of the assignment.
