Construction Mechanic – Maintenance & Repair

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Construction Mechanic to join our site team in Tuas. You will be responsible for keeping all construction machinery and equipment in optimal working condition, ensuring safety and high-quality workmanship on every project.

Key responsibilities

• Perform repair and preventive maintenance on a wide range of construction machinery and equipment.
• Maintain, review, and continuously improve the site maintenance programme.
• Coordinate with site staff to verify that supplied equipment meets quality and safety standards.
• Design and execute action plans for maintenance tasks, upgrades, and emergency repairs.
• Ensure timely completion of all scheduled maintenance and repair work.
• Document maintenance activities and report any recurring issues to management.

Required profile

• Diploma, Higher Nitec or Secondary level education.
• Certified Machinery Safety Expert or WSQ Precision Engineering certificate.
• Minimum 2‑3 years of relevant experience in machinery repair and maintenance.
• Willingness to work on weekends and public holidays as required.
• Ability to work independently, resourceful and self‑motivated.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and organisational abilities.
