Consulting Engineering Technical Leader - Enterprise Networking

About the role

Cisco is looking for a Consulting Engineering Technical Leader in Singapore, its senior Enterprise Networking professional services technical leader for complex customer transformations. The role combines deep hands-on expertise with technical leadership to assess, plan, design, implement, migrate, optimize and support Cisco Enterprise Networking solutions, acting as a trusted advisor to senior customer stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex service engagements from discovery and assessment through design, implementation, migration, testing, handover and post-implementation support, with DC solutions as a plus
• Provide hands-on technical leadership for Wi-Fi, RF survey and design, SDA, SD-WAN, ISE, WLC and firewall solutions
• Own the technical delivery strategy, architecture quality, risks, dependencies, change controls and escalations for cross-functional projects
• Lead solution workshops and design reviews with customer architects, operations teams and executives
• Build trusted-advisor relationships with senior customer leaders and align technical roadmaps to their business outcomes
• Work with account teams, sales, Customer Success and partners to shape service solutions and support service proposals and statements of work
• Drive customer adoption through deliverables, operational documentation, knowledge transfer and success measures
• Apply automation and AI-enabled methods using the Digitized Delivery methodology, and develop reusable delivery assets and design standards
• Coach and mentor consulting engineers and lead technical communities of practice

Required profile

• 12+ years of networking, consulting or professional services experience, including hands-on design and delivery of complex enterprise network transformations
• Active CCIE certification required; CCDE preferred
• Proven experience leading full project delivery lifecycles and defining technical scope, risks and effort estimates
• Demonstrated pre-sales consulting experience with sales, customers and partners
• Strong client consulting, stakeholder management and executive communication skills

Required skills

• Deep hands-on expertise in Cisco enterprise wireless, including Wi-Fi architecture, RF surveys, design, capacity planning, roaming and WLC platforms
• Hands-on design and implementation of SDA, SD-WAN, ISE, network segmentation, policy, authentication, access control and firewall integration
• Preferred: Data Center ACI and VXLAN EVPN, and experience with network automation, Python, APIs and infrastructure automation
