Contract Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Contract Manager to lead the contractual, commercial and legal aspects of large‑scale construction projects in Singapore. The role covers the full contract lifecycle, from tendering through to close‑out, and requires strong risk‑management and dispute‑resolution capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Administer contracts from award to close‑out, including drafting, reviewing and negotiating main contracts, sub‑contracts and consultancy agreements.
• Identify, assess and mitigate contractual and commercial risks; advise project teams on exposure and mitigation strategies.
• Manage variation orders, extension‑of‑time claims, delay and disruption claims, and lead negotiations with clients, consultants and suppliers.
• Support tender evaluation, draft subcontract and supplier agreements, and ensure commercial alignment during procurement.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all contractual matters, collaborating with project managers, engineers, legal teams and clients.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory frameworks and governance standards; support internal and external audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• Significant experience in construction contract management within infrastructure, industrial, data‑center or similar mission‑critical projects.
• Deep understanding of standard forms of contract and commercial governance frameworks.
• Proven ability to manage claims, variations and dispute resolution processes.
