Country HR Manager – Singapore

About the role

The Country HR Manager will lead the full spectrum of human resources activities for our Singapore operations, partnering with business leaders to drive a high‑performance culture and support the company’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Design, communicate and implement HR policies, procedures and compliance measures in line with Singapore labour law and corporate standards.
• Lead recruitment initiatives for both hourly and salaried positions, collaborating with functional heads on job profiling and selection.
• Oversee performance‑management and talent‑development cycles, including merit reviews, development plans and regional talent reviews.
• Develop and deliver local training programmes, ensuring alignment with business needs.
• Facilitate employee‑engagement surveys, focus groups and follow‑up action plans.
• Manage employee relations, grievances, disciplinary actions and liaison with unions or legal counsel as required.
• Support organisational design, job classification redesign and change‑management projects.
• Champion the company’s code of conduct and ethical standards across the Singapore workforce.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing HR functions in Singapore, with solid knowledge of local employment legislation.
• Ability to act as a change agent and influence senior leaders.
• Strong understanding of HR best practices across recruitment, performance, learning and employee relations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
