Crane Erector

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Crane Erector to join our construction team on Jurong Island. The role involves assembling, installing, and dismantling tower and mobile cranes, ensuring safe and efficient operations on site.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble and disassemble tower cranes, mobile cranes, and heavy‑lift machinery, including mast sections, turntables, jibs, counterweights and climbing frames.
• Perform hydraulic jacking operations to raise or lower tower cranes.
• Conduct pre‑erection inspections, align and torque bolts, and assist with load testing and functional checks.
• Follow risk assessments, safe work procedures and MOM safety regulations, reporting any incidents or defects.
• Coordinate with riggers, signalmen, crane operators and supervisors, interpreting manuals, drawings and engineering plans.
• Complete erection checklists, handover documents and maintain accurate logs of inspections and non‑conformities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in crane erection and dismantling on construction sites.
• Ability to follow strict safety protocols and MOM regulations.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills to work with riggers and operators.
• Capability to read and interpret crane manuals, technical drawings and engineering plans.
• Attention to detail for inspections, torqueing and documentation.
