Customer Onboarding Strategist

About the role

Google Customer Solutions is seeking a Customer Onboarding Strategist to help businesses adopt Google’s advertising solutions. You will combine product knowledge with consultative selling to guide new customers through their first six months, ensuring they achieve long‑term success.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of new customers for the first six months, setting them up for sustained growth.
• Conduct proactive outreach, including cold calling, to introduce Google advertising products.
• Collaborate with acquisition, product, program, and same‑store teams to deliver a seamless onboarding experience.
• Identify and address market‑specific challenges in the Australia and New Zealand region.
• Upsell and pitch additional solutions that add value to customers’ businesses.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, digital media sales, business development, or digital marketing.
• Preferred 8 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, or management consulting.
• Experience working with media agencies in the Australian market and engaging Australian clients.
• Strong communication skills and ability to overcome client contactability challenges.
