Customer Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

The Customer Quality Assurance Engineer will manage field claims, drive root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve product reliability. Working closely with regional Technical Product Managers, you will ensure timely resolution of customer issues and enhance detection efficacy.

Key responsibilities

• Process field claims promptly and coordinate resolution activities.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis, containment, and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on failure analysis and product characterization.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations and support customer visits, factory audits and product inspections.
• Design tests to detect infant mortality and mid‑life failures.
• Contribute to a knowledge base on product degradation from material to system level.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline (advanced degrees welcome).
• Strong problem‑solving ability and experience in failure analysis.
• Familiarity with statistical analysis methods.
• Experience with SAP and knowledge of Lean Manufacturing / Toyota Production System.
• Ability to work independently, manage time under tight deadlines and travel as needed.
