Customer Supply Chain Manager

About the role

The Customer Supply Chain Manager is the primary liaison between customers, commercial teams and Ichor’s global supply chain functions. The role ensures that customer demand is aligned with material availability and that builds are clear‑to‑build across worldwide manufacturing sites.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate cross‑functional activities to align demand signals with material availability and drive clear‑to‑build readiness.
• Identify and resolve supply constraints by working with procurement, planning, operations and suppliers, and lead structured escalation of disruptions.
• Allocate constrained materials to highest‑priority customer builds in partnership with planning and program management.
• Serve as the main supply‑chain interface for key customers, providing transparent updates on risks, mitigation plans and delivery outlook.
• Maintain visibility of critical sub‑tier suppliers, assess capacity and risk, and monitor leading indicators to anticipate shortages.
• Define and manage resiliency settings such as safety stock, safety time and strategic buffers for critical items.
• Lead cross‑functional risk reviews and drive mitigation initiatives including alternate sourcing and supplier capacity expansion.
• Provide data‑driven updates on supply constraints, recovery plans and expected resolution timelines.

Required profile

• Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret complex supply data.
• Executive‑level communication skills and experience influencing senior stakeholders.
• Proven ability to work across functions such as procurement, planning, operations and commercial teams.
• Experience in managing supply‑chain risk, safety‑stock planning and supplier risk mitigation.
• Customer‑focused mindset with a track record of building credibility through transparency and responsiveness.
